Hydraulics / Brake Pressure Transducer

AS high accuracy pressure transducer

A key consideration with brake pressure sensors, aside from the higher pressures seen in most other applications on a vehicle, is the internal materials the transducer is made from.  At KA sensors we always build a brake pressure sensor with an EPDM rather than the typical VITON internal seal.  The KA Sensors below can all be specified with an EPDM seal making them suitable for hydraulic and brake fluid pressure measurment.

ASL Standard Pressure Transducer / Sensor
Model ASL Pressure Transducer / Sensor

The ASL series standard pressure transducers / sensors offer a high level of performance at an affordable price for all types of motorsport. They are designed for the detection of fluid and gas pressures in demanding motorsport and automotive applications. These are ideal for high precision data acquisition or control systems. The transducers / sensor can be installed directly onto vehicles or as part of a test stand or dyno.

Typical applications include: Oil - Fuel - Coolant - Boost - Brakes - Air - Water

  • Compact Design
  • 15 psi to 6000 psi Range
  • Ruggedized Construction
  • Amplified Output
  • 5V or 8-16V Supply
  • ±0.5% Standard Accuracy
  • Various Process Connections
ASMP Standard Metri-Pack Pressure Transducer / Sensor
ASMP Standard Metri-Pack Pressure Transducer/ Sensor

The ASMP series is the same as the “flying lead” ASL with the addition of an integral Metri-Pack type 150 3 pin electrical connection which is common throughout motorsport. Used for the measurement of fluid and gas pressures in demanding motorsport and automotive applications. The modular construction and programmable amplifier provide a fast delivery time for standard and custom configurations.  The mating half connector can be supplied with the crimps upon request.
