The ASH Series of high performance pressure transducers have been designed for extreme endurance and high temperature installations on motorsport and automotive applications.

These are ideal for high precision data acquisition or control systems. The transducers can be installed directly onto vehicles or as part of a test stand or dyno.

The transducers offer a high level of reliability and endurance, they are protected against the high vibration, shock and high temperatures found in motorsport. Continuous operation up to 300°F allows for installation in hot zones.

ASLA Lightweight Pressure Transducer / Sensor
ASLA Lightweight Pressure Transducer / Sensor

 The ASLA Series of lightweight pressure transducers / sensors are constructed from aluminum and offer the same high performance of measurement found in our ASL Standard Series but at half the weight. Ideal for installation on carbon air boxes where the mass needs to be kept low or any application where every fraction of an ounce saved is vital. Standard pressure ranges are based around the requirements of air applications found on race cars such as MAP, Barometric, Boost.. Pressure connections are -3 or M10 x 1.

ASLF Barometric/MAP Pressure Transducer / Sensor
ASLF Barometric/MAP Transducer / Sensor

The ASLF series of high performance pressure transducers / sensors have been designed for Barometric and MAP pressures in demanding motorsport and automotive applications.  The construction is of lightweight aluminum and differs from the ASLA as the ASLF has a flange mounting as opposed to a typical threaded sensor.  The flange installs directly onto the surface of inlet manifolds.

ASMC Miniature Pressure/Temperature Transducer / Sensor

The ASMC series miniature pressure temperature transducers / sensors offer a combined pressure and temperature sensor in a miniature all stainless steel package.  Protected against the high vibration, shock and high temperatures found in motorsport, the ASMC provides high levels of reliability and endurance The temperature measurement is via a small protrusion on the end of the pressure port giving a fast and accurate temperature reading. From a PT1000 or NTC thermistor.

ASMP Standard Metri-Pack Pressure Transducer / Sensor

The ASMP series is the same as the “flying lead” ASL with the addition of an integral Metri-Pack type 150 3 pin electrical connection which is common throughout motorsport. Used for the measurement of fluid and gas pressures in demanding motorsport and automotive applications. The modular construction and programmable amplifier provide a fast delivery time for standard and custom configurations.  The mating half connector can be supplied with the crimps upon request.

KAP Differential Pressure Sensor
KAP Differencial Pressure Transducer

The KAP Series of cost effective high performance pressure transducers have been designed for dynamic pressure measurements using a Pitot tube in demanding motorsport and automotive applications.

The transducers offer a high level of reliability and endurance, they are protected against high vibration, shock and temperatures found in motorsport. The sensor is also suitable for wet/wet installations.

The KAP Series are race proven and can be found in many race series around the world.

KAPT Pitot Tube
KA Sensors KAPT Pitot Tube

This Pitot Tube is used to measure a cars speed relative to the surrounding air.  The assembly is made up of a pair of concentric tubes.  The ellipsoidal nose cone at the tip has a small aperture in the end connected to the inner tube, while an annular ring of holes on the outer tube senses the static/surrounding air pressure.  By measuring the difference between the air pressure of the inner and outer tubes (see the KA Sensors KAP Differential Pressure Sensor), the speed of the vehicle can be sensed, measured and calculated.  While a standard sized KAPT is available, a full custom service is also available.  See separate datasheet for details of the Differential Pressure Sensor (KAP).
