Accelerometers & Gyro

KAH Single axis Hub Accelerometers

KA Sensors supply a wide range of Accelerometers and Gyro suited to match your needs.

With in-house design, manufacture and calibration of a wide range of Accelerometers, KA Sensors provide products with 1, 2 or 3 Axis of measurement in very small, rugged and lightweight packages.

Also offering a Low Bandwidth range that is ideally suited to vehicle dynamics measurement and control, the Acceletometers and Gyro will filter out any high frequency chassis vibrations when pitch, yaw and roll parameters are intended.

Typical Applications Include:

  • Aero Performance
  • Braking
  • Launch Control
  • Suspension Test
  • Track Mapping

KATD 1 and 2 Axis (Dual) Low Bandwidth Accelerometer
KATD 1 and 2 Axis (Dual) Low Bandwidth Accelerometer

The KATD Series of single or dual axis accelerometers are designed for true inertial measurements on race vehicles or automotive test vehicles. The use of low bandwidth sensing elements ensures that high frequency vibration from transmission components or similar do not affect the measurements. Therefore allowing only lower frequency components to be detected and measured. The sensors offer 2 axes of measurement with integral signal conditioning to give a standard signal of 0.5 to 4.5V which is ideal for most data acquisition systems.

Typical applications include: Aero Performance - Launch Control - Track Mapping - Lean Angle – Cornering – Braking

  • Miniature Size
  • ±2g to ±10g
  • 2 Axis Output
  • 0 to 20Hz Bandwidth
  • ±20,000g Over Range
  • Built-in Amplifier
