GSS Gear Shift Load Cell

The GSS Series of Miniature Load Cells are designed for the detection and measurement of tension and compression forces in Gear Shift Application. 

During the gear change sequence, the driver moves the gear lever as normal, the GSS Series Load Cell detects the force applied to the gear shift lever. This force is measured by the ECU, then a series of control events take place that allows the gears to mesh with full throttle still applied.

The ASLA Series of Lightweight Pressure Transducers are constructed from aluminium and offer the same high performance of measurement found in our ASL Standard Series yet half the weight. Ideal for installation on carbon air box where the mass needs to be kept low or any application where every gram saved is vital. GST Gear Lever Load Cell

The GST Series of Gear Lever Load Cells is designed for the detection and measurement of tension and compression forces in Gear Shift Application. 

Installed directly on top of the gear lever, the GST Series Load Cell is fitted with an aluminium or nylon cover. Detection of the direct drivers input force is made when selecting gears. The Load Cell has a pre-amplified signal which is compatible with most ECU's, therefore ensuring simple and reliable clutchless gear change strategy can be performed.

The KH41/42 Series of Non Contact 2-Channel Rotary Position Sensors are designed to withstand the harsh environments of motorsport and automotive testing applications.

By using a proven ‘Hall Effect’ technology, the KH41/42 offers high performance and reliability at temperatures up to +150°C. Alternatively, it is capable of operational excellence in cold environments down to –40°C.

The KH41/42 has no moving parts; a magnet is inserted into the moving component. It detects movement and provides a linear output signal proportional to the rotational angle.

The sensing element is a sub-miniature 10KΩ NTC Thermistor, with a very fast response time which helps to improve engine performance. Calibration of each is well defined and can be installed into most common ECUs and data logging systems.

Construction choice is either Anodised Aluminium, Brass or Stainless Steel — all with a heat insulating PEEK ISOTIP™ which isolates the sensing element from surrounding heat soak.
